Congratulations! SUNRUI Blade Successfully Finished the Static Test of First SR156 Blade

On April 12, 2021, the first SR156 blade that independently designed and developed by Luoyang SUNRUI Wind Turbine Blade Co., Ltd. has successfully left the assembly line at Yancheng base. Recently, the blade successfully completed a full-scale static test.
The blade is 76 meters long. It is a new onshore large-blade product launched by SUNRUI Blade for the era of parity. The rated power of the blade is 5.0MW-6.XMW.The SR156 R&D team solved various problems in the R&D process through in-depth planning, careful experiment, and pre-judgment, finally successfully completed the design and production of the blade.
The blade realizes the maximization of a variety of new structures, new technologies, new processes, and new materials; it covers the latest technology of integral pouring molding of pultruded plate girder and shell, and structural forms such as single web in the cavity; and expands a new infusion resin, clamping adhesive, sandwich material and root connection bolt system. Every new design, new material and new process is a new challenge. Through detailed theoretical analysis, combining with a large number of experimental demonstrations, the project team steadily advances and continuously overcomes every difficulty. The successful test of the product verifies a number of new process technologies, enriches the raw material database, further consolidates the independent design capability of SUNRUI Blade, and lays a solid foundation for the future development of the wind power blade industry.
The successful development of this blade further enriches the company’s 5.0MW-6.XMW product sequence, provides customers at home and abroad with a new choice with power generation advantages and cost competitiveness, and also provides strong support for the realization of the “14th five-year plan” new energy development goals.

This marks the first time that the company’s products have received this certification, signifying a milestone breakthrough for Sunrui Composite Materials on its journey toward green and low-carbon development and affixing a trustworthy, eco-friendly label to its blades.
